The staff were able to order us a taxi

The room smelled of paint/varnish, as if it was just decorated, it was very strong. We asked to change rooms but there were none available.

room is clean, walking distance to metro station

staff at reception do not seem happy when we asked questions. we cannot call the reception from the hotel room. we had to go downstairs as there were no instructions on how to reach them by phone. the key to our door did not work properly. we had to try a number of times before the knob turns. we had to leave the keys at the reception each time we left the hotel.

The hotel is near the center, easily accessible and relatively cheap. While the rooms are not very big, as other reviewers have remarked, they are completely sufficient, if you do not plan to spend whole days there. The hotel provides wireless internet for free (!) and the staff is kind. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone coming to Paris for touristic purposes.

the existence of an elevator, air conditioning

the rooms are so small that you don't have a place where to put your suitcase ..you have to jump over your suitcase in order to reach the bathroom or the door of your room .. that's even unacceptable for a 2 star hotel ...

position - very close to the metro stations; room size - was fair big accordingly to Parisian standards
