This classic, city centre hotel dates from the early 20th century and is located on Avinguda Diagonal – one of the main boulevards passing through the city’s heart.

My almost-two years-old child came with me but the hotel was not organised to welcome children. Breakfast was very difficult as the hotel does not provide highchairs and he is too small to reach the table! Then the cot was not very safe. A modern camping stile cot which is lower to the ground and allow children to stand up without the danger of falling out would be very advisable.

The hotel is not in the center but that is a pro, it's out of the hectic. No more than 10 minutes by bus from Plaza Catalunya, and with a metro station in the nearby. I asked for a quiet room and I had a very quiet one. Very clean. Nice and large bathroom.

Beds are acceptable but not really comfortable. The buffet breakfast is not included in the rate, it's good but expensive, €16.5 each.

the staff are friendly and they can speak English well to assist me in communications(bus,subway...etc) and translations.

The room was very clean and quiet.

Some front desk staff not very helpful; others gave wrong information. Alternate menu of breakfast items posted in the bar was not available and the breakfast buffet is expensive.

Su ubicación en la ciudad.

El excesivo calor que hubo en las habitacíones, principalmente en la individual. Tuvimos que dormir con las ventanas abiertas con temperaturas exteriores bajas (otoño)
