Great location, nice rooms, fun theme. Would definitely recommend staying here. The other reviewers are right about some points: the rooms are a bit small, there is some noise from trams, the staircase was steep, etc, but none of these things bothered me and I was quite pleased with my stay here. |

A great central location. It is close to the Leidseplein and venues such as Paradiso and the Melkweg. It was aslo very convenient because several tram stops are close by, making it easy to get around to other parts of the city. Also easy for cab drivers to find it late at night. Avoid the basement - In general I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness/location, however, my first room was in the basement and there was an unbearable humming/vibration from upstairs throughout the night. I was luckily able to change rooms the second night and was moved to the first floor. I had no problem with the light traffic passing by but I can imagine it could be difficult for som |

Clean and comfortable. Nice canal views. Close to Vondelpark- was good to go running there. Staff very helpful with recommendations for restuarants and shopping out of the main tourist traps. Was a little noisy from the street at night, but I had ear plugs with me so I slept well. |

The theme (i) Narrow stairs but not a big issue (ii) the noise from the streets even though it's not exactly the main road but we can hear everything from people talking on pavements to cars/buses driving past. Try not to get the rooms at the basement if you can! |

Interesting decor We paid €120 for a single night and got a basement room which was stiflingly hot, shared bathrooms which were filthy, and constant noise from the bar upstairs throughout the night that made sleep impossible. I highly recommend staying elsewhere!!! Seriously overpriced and unimpressive. |

everything, staff was very kind, room spotless, location excellent, leidsplein 3 mins aways with nightlife and restaurants and redlight districs 10-15 mins walking. i had stayed in many ho(s)tels in Amsterdam and this is by far the best value for the money. |

The theme of the hotel is fantastic and funky and suited the purpose for my visit to Amsterdam which was to see Hot Chip Live in the Paradiso (which is about a 5 minute walk away). Room was newly refurbished, clean and staff are very friendly and approachable. |
